Application procedure

Are you looking for a reliable future after university? Then you have come to the right place at HBPO. We offer you excellent entry-level opportunities. What you can expect: a variety of different tasks and powerful team spirit.

This is our application procedure for direct entry:

 

  • You have just finished your apprenticeship or studies and want to take off career-wise? Or have you already been working for one or two years already and decided you would like to prove yourself in the automotive supplier industry? We look forward to receiving your application.

  • At HBPO, applications can be sent the traditional way by post or online. In order to apply online, please register first in our job portal. From here, you are guided step by step through the application procss. You are also welcome to apply by bewerbung@hbpogroup.com.

  • You then receive confirmation of receipt.

  • Our Human Resources team views your application and forwards it to the department manager responsible. That takes some time.

  • We find that you are a good match for the job advertised and we like profile. Then you will be invited to take part in an initial phone interview or invited directly to a personal meeting. During this first conversation, you will generally get to know someone from Human Resources and your potential technical supervisor. We use the conversation to get to know you better and to introduce ourselves to you.

    In the case of trainee programmes, the first conversation also involves a theoretical or practical task. We will inform you of this in good time, of course.
     

  • After this conversation you will receive feedback from us quickly. Usually, a second conversation will take place with a larger number of people. Here, we will discuss further open questions from both sides. Then we will let you know what the further application procedure will be.

  • Both sides – you and us – find each other a good match? Then you will receive a contract offer from us – welcome to our HBPO team!

Tips for a successful meeting:

Individualise your application!
You want to stand out from the numerous other applications? Then write a cover letter that reveals something about you.

 

Get a second opinion!
Have someone proofread your application before you send it. This way, mistakes will be minimized and your chances of a positive reaction will be increased.

Are you nervous? That’s not a bad thing!
There’s nothing wrong with being nervous! It’s part of the process. First job interviews in particular are unfamiliar territory. Other applicants are in the same boat. But don’t worry, we are looking forward to getting to know you. So just keep calm.

Come prepared!
How many plants does HBPO have? What exactly do we manufacture? Who are our customers? Is anything unclear? Feel free to bring your questions! We will be happy to answer them!

What are you aiming to achieve in your career? Take a critical look at your strengths and weaknesses. Be honest to yourself: consciously ask yourself the question whether and why you would fit in, but also whether we are the right company for you. Very important – convince us you will enjoy the job!
